The Scoop on this friendly Nurse

Hello and thank you for stopping by.

My name is Margie and I've been a Registered Nurse for many years. My education is from California where I worked in state of the art hospitals. Most of my career is in surgery as an Operating Room Nurse. Other specialties have been Orthopedics, Eyes, OB-Postpartum and Geriatrics.

In 2000 I began to learn about and practice alternative, integrative medicine. What that basically means is how to become and stay healthy first by eating delicious high density nutrient foods combined with exercise to stay healthy and prevent disease.

Combining/integrating that with our modern day medicine is the best of both worlds. In this day and age we really have it all, if we just practice it.

My passion is understanding the organs and systems of the body and how it all works as I have been there first hand. Through my career I have seen that healthy, happy active people become and stay that way very simply. Mostly by eating healthy exercising (this could be just walking), getting enough sleep, drinking good water and living in a non-contaminated environment.

We are between homes in beautiful Idaho and Montana U.S.A. with husband Lynn, six horses, two dogs, two cats and chickens.

We have two wonderful sons and a daughter in law in Montana that love good foods to stay healthy, and my daughter in law Ashley can really cook!!

Always having had a passion for anatomy and how the body works, my Optometrist Father and I would have long conversations about the sciences and health. We would have fun since he was very involved with my classes and quiz me before a test.

I love good health, the body, helping others with their health and pretty much drive my family crazy at times, but they love me any way. Yes, I am known as a health nut and proud of it.

Creating this informational website for those that want to help themselves is my passion. You might have heard that 'knowledge is power", and I feel that is so true with good health.

It was so amazing to me when in early 2000 I found out how powerful the things we eat and put into our bodies can determine either poor, good or great health.

Doctors and Nurses typically only have one class in nutrition but requirements are changing. Sometimes we think what we are eating is very healthy only to discover and find it is not the case at all.

I have worked in all areas of Medicine with acid reflux, from endoscopies, surgeries and medications. My passion the last fourteen years has been wellness, integrative and alternative health measures, learning how very powerful foods heal the body and maintain good health. So with a well-armed knowledge base to share with you I am excited for you to find your acid reflux nuggets that empower you to help yourself.

On this website I hope that you feel you have found a friendly nurse to help you to help yourself through information in all areas.

This is an ongoing website continually updating so please check back for new information.

Because of the internet I am now able to reach a lot of people with questions seeking the full circle of information on Acid Reflux from natural, medication to surgery.

Through Site Build It (SBI) and it's tools I can now pass my passion on to others. It's pretty wonderful when an E.R. Doctor can build a website business and show others how to do it too. Now I can get my message 'out there'!

Thank you again and have fun hanging around.
